Deb grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, where the rhythms of life, lifelong friendships, and everyday experiences helped shape the stories she tells through music. Her songwriting is deeply rooted in real life, the people she has known, the places she remembers, and the moments that leave lasting impressions.

Inspired by life itself, Deb began putting those experiences into songs that reflect honesty, heart, faith, struggle, joy, and the beauty of daily living. Her writing carries the authenticity of someone who has lived the stories she writes about, giving her music a genuine and relatable voice.

After two career changes where her studies took her academically as far as she could achieve, Deb felt a divine calling and developed a passion for songwriting. In 2011 she set out for Nashville where she studied songwriting and her creative journey began. Through her songs, she hopes listeners can find pieces of their own stories, memories, and experiences reflected back to them.
